Someone set fire to a 200-year-old oak tree
200-year-old oak was set on fire
The perpetrator of the arson attack on the 200-year-old peduncle oak is being sought. The tree grew in the Koronowo commune (kujawsko-pomorskie voivodeship), in the Grabowo park. It was a natural monument. Its trunk was almost 500 cm in circumference.
The tree was most likely barbarously set on fire by an unknown perpetrator. I kindly ask
that anyone who has any information that could contribute to the explanation of the
causes of the fire or the capture of the perpetrator, forward it to the police station in
Koronowo

The arson happened on the 12th of October 2022. The 200-year-old tree couldn’t be saved. The perpetrator of the arson is being sought by the police.
